Southern Highlands Gaming Guild
First call out for Artists
The Southern Highlands is trying it’s hand at some publishing and needs some
talented artists. Willing to try your hand at fantasy? Are already doing
fantasy drawing? Here’s your chance to start getting paid for it…
What we need right now is to sort through who’s out there and who isn’t. We
won’t necessarily be only hiring one person, but looking for many talented
individuals who can draw different things. For the moment we will be paying
per drawing. To start us going we would like samples of the following (you
can do one, or a couple, it’s up to you);
A) Elven Male or Female Magic User
B) Halfling (if you haven’t played fantasy games – think hobbits from Lord
of the Rings) that looks sneaky
C) Dwarven Fighter
D) Human cleric of Pelor (if you don’t know what that is – wiki it)
E) Half formed scary monster (think nightmare versions of natural creatures
that’s kinda whispy and disappearing – hell, you can even have it attacking
someone/thing if you want)
F) Mirror from which afore said nightmare creatures emerge from
These are going to be printed in black and white – so the drawings are to be
presented in Black and White and already inked. Maximum size should be 14cm
* 14cm. Please have drawing on clear paper or, even better, already in
digital form (jpg… whatever can work on an every day computer). For the
moment we will be accepting all entries, then payment will be negotiated
with you (though, first couple are probably not going to be anything to send
home about). You will also get a sample of the publication at the end of the
process for your own future reference.
